Running a Community Page

2 min read

Managing a Community page on Zora gives you the tools to lead, organise, and grow your presence — all from one space.

Whether you’re coordinating events, sharing updates, or responding to messages, your Community page acts as your digital hub within the wider Zora ecosystem.

Who Can Run a Community Page? #

Community pages can be created and managed by:

  • Official representatives of an organisation, business, or group

  • Volunteers or organisers leading grassroots efforts

  • Verified members of diaspora associations or support groups

Each page can have multiple admins, making collaboration easy across your team.

Core Features for Community Managers #

Here’s what you can do once your Community page is live:

Share Posts and Announcements #

Publish regular updates to keep your followers informed. Posts can include text, images, hashtags, and links — just like personal posts, but amplified.

Host Events #

Create and promote events happening online or in person. Community-hosted events appear in both the main Events feed and on your Community page.

Post Jobs or Opportunities #

Advertise job openings, volunteer roles, or partnership opportunities. You can use both free and premium listing options.

Share Classifieds #

Offer services, promote workshops, or sell community-related goods in a transparent and trusted space.

Respond to Messages and Comments #

Engage directly with your followers by replying to comments and checking your inbox for messages or partnership requests.

Track Reach and Engagement (Coming Soon) #

We’re building simple insights tools to help you understand how your posts and events are performing, and who’s engaging with your content.

Admin Tools and Access #

Admins have access to page settings where they can:

  • Update profile info and logos

  • Add or remove admins

  • Set their Community’s city or category

  • Edit or delete past posts and events

Admins are also expected to follow Zora’s Community Guidelines and uphold safe, inclusive behaviour.

Tips for Running a Great Community Page #

  • Post regularly to stay visible in your followers’ feeds

  • Tag relevant users or use hashtags to increase reach

  • Keep your info updated — especially contact details and location

  • Use Zora’s features to connect across groups and topics

  • Let your Community’s personality come through

Running a Community page isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency, care, and showing up for your people.
