The short days and grey skies are starting to get to me. This is my third winter in the UK, and I feel like each year gets harder. Does anyone else struggle with mood during the winter months? What strategies have you found helpful for dealing with the lack of sunlight and cold weather?

blocking time in my calendar specifically for family activities is overrated in my opinion. I prefer to focus on looking at up-and-coming areas rather than established ones instead.

finding a place with good transport links is overrated in my opinion. I prefer to focus on getting outside during daylight hours, even on cloudy days instead.
working from home two days a week to reduce commute time is overrated in my opinion. I prefer to focus on meal prepping on Sundays to save time during the week instead.
